Leaving the hobby :(

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
I don't think it's shell fish. Shrimp is the only sea food I eat and never had any allergic reactions.

Do a bunch of allergy testing first before quitting. You do not need to quit altogether

You could get someone to service your tanks too I think that's an option all you would have to do is feed them and they could take care of the tank and water chemistry I think that's an great idea and if that's too costly limit it to only one tank

The gloves aren't a bad idea. I'm going to try it. Just going to have to find arms length gloves cause my tank is deep and I'm short lol. I don't want to have someone service the tank till I know for sure I can't do it anymore but that might get costly. I've been thinking of going auto drip so I won't have to do any water changes

They have them specially for hobbyists, I bought some. They go all they past my elbows, and that was fine for my 2 ft tank, for my 3 ft I use nets, and grabbers, and my elongated reptile sand scooper thing which is good for grabbing poop and debris from the sand as the sand sifts through

I've recently started to have allergic reactions to my tank and fish. I went to a doctor and they told it would be best just to stop keeping fish all together. It sucks big monkey nuts but I have to think about my health in the long run. I'm not sure how much I'm going to be getting on Mfk now but I might have to pop up every once in a while to troll. Till then love peace and chicken grease

With tanks sometimes humidity can influence mold. Possibly get your air ducts cleaned out for 80$ that may help!
