How often do your skin break out in hives? It would be interesting to document what exactly you were doing before hand.

I sneeze a lot these days when I open packages of bloodworm, so I think I'll stop feeding that to the fish. They'll just have to contend with only krill and mysis shrimp. As for allergy to fish slime, do you get a reaction if you touch fish at your local fish monger?

After I visited the Georgia aquarium, I broke out in hives and had fever for a week. The hives persisted for another two. I thought that was the flu but it could also be something else I suppose.

It's happened twice so far both several weeks apart. The first time I had put my jd in qt when my wolf fish attacked him. I grabbed the net and the fish.

The second time is when a new wolf died in qt and I just picked it up bare handed.

Both times they weren't that bad just on my palms and I didn't have any fever.

As long as its not respiratory, I would think physical barrier like gloves would work. Unless you are into this

Well I ordered a pair of those gloves. Going to do a water change tonight after work. So I'll update on how that goes if I'm not too tired to clean the tank.
