Hi Guys,
Well I'm just up right now and I'm thinking of building a website and I'm thinking about selling LED Lights the DIY kind .... I know there are bunch of sites selling those but I think I have a market maybe my fellow MFK'ers? :)
and yes I have a background in e-commerce sites and yes I have access to programers and web designers ( here is my website http://www.webit.asia/ anyways I have been building sites but I wanted to build something for me or something different how bout a site that sells LED SUPPLIES plus other stuff aquarium related ...

and again yah its been done.... in short I'm bored but I think this has a potential... I'm thinking of a website thats different member owned? the members would have to contribute to be a member and this site should get a percentage well not just an affiliate... like the other banners etc but an actual partner? anyways help me out guys I might take the plunge and invest on this... what do you guys think?

If it is member owned, how will you compensate the members? You'd have to think of them as shareholders, which would required that you provide some sort of dividend.

Yup I was thinking about that. I can probably have an open enrollment
Date for MFK members who ever wants to join but if no one is interested then
It will be just privately owned I like the idea of having reliable owners but I know
There will be issues with partnwrships etc. I think it will be great if some members
Had a chance to decide if they wanted to take part of the day to day operations or
Or just sit back.

Anyways spoke with some friends who is in the aquarium business and they wouldnt
Mind helping me out with the suppliers for supplements and other stuff anyways thats when
I wanted to start a business plan so that I wont start going all over the place if its a specialty shop
Im stuck with a single market mostly Individual who likes to do DIY project and thats not too bad
Bad at all anyways since I have a couple months maybe weeks ... I'll have to set a deadline and ill
Make it up along the way maybe within this week I can decide what to sell if its just LED products or
Again just an all around store for aquaria needs.

i believe there are companies that will get you adds and etc for a cut.

on to the leds themselves are you gunnna sell idot proof kits, ive seen led's used for everything and there only getting more popular. id buy if it was idiot proof

you could also do a blog off of it

Thats a good Idea and i can probably ask them that however for something
Like that maybe it will already come mostly pre assembled and it will probably
Increase the price of the item and your right it is getting more popular so maybe
I should focus on LED's?

I like the idea of being able to buy a kit that has all the electronic components matched up, but then you get to build your own hood/fixture to hold everything. I think the technical side is what scares most DIYers away from LEDs.
