Leichardti aquarium size.

This topic could be beaten to death. Get the largest tank you can afford and fit in the area you have plans for, get the Lei and care for it.

I think your lei will be quite comfortable in that 250 for a while. Looking at your stocklist, eventually you are gonna need a few "Monster" tanks, I'm sure you'll find the appropriate tank for it. IMO you need a tank with a width equal to that of the fish and a length that is 3x the fish.

but the fact remains that a leichardti will grow up to and possibly over 3 ft

unless you want a frustrated fish trying to bash its way out of a tank

remember leich's arent as flexible as silvers and will have greater trouble turning in a tank with a 2ft width.
