Leichardti Question

Considering it is someones last name there is ONLY ONE way to say it, any other way is wrong, I am not saying either side is wrong but there is a correct and incorrect way which is which I don't know, I'm sure his decendants do though. My name is Micheal Morrell pronouced My-call More-rel, if you were to say my name different you would be wrong. Many people say my last name as Mo-rule and they are wrong.

If this arguement is childish then why did you start it back up, no one has posted in it for a while and it would have slipped right off the bottom of the page and would have ended. You are obviously childish so don't judge others. Besides this is a genuine discussion, are you saying that the pronoucaution of the English language is a chldish debate?

I never said that either side was right or wrong, but that this Leichardti guy would say his own last name a certain way which would be the right way to say it, Germans would say it closest to how its ment to be said.

Report me to a MOD, I have done nothing wrong nor have I attacked you and if you fell that I have attacked you that is your problem. You are the one who started the thread back up, which wasn't posted in for nearly a weak. Why do that if it had all settled down if you knew it was a heated discussion.

Not to start the arguemant up but in my defense, I never said anyone said it wrong. Read over my posts and you will see that, I just said there is a corret way to say it of which I am unsure. Whats so hard to understand about that .
I did ask why MistirE posted in an old post that had cooled down just to start it up again.

Close this thread then it will be end of arguement, simple.
