Aye, lents can be some of the most aggressive pikes out there. They definitely can bring on the smack if they want to. Bigger the tank, more hiding places, the better the luck.

Sorry for the losses man. Personally I'd still keep the lent.

I did sell one of my lents for dirt cheap though to a fellow MFK Crenicichlaholic, so see if you can beat it. 11" male lent for $6. Hahaha

Thanks Peanut!! I didn't know they were so aggressive. Weird because it didn't start until recently. Don't know if Imma keep him or not, but I know I can't beat $6!!!!

Yup, there is a reason that they are still pretty rare in the hobby, I just picked up 7 red hooks the size of my hand, they are in with the lents. . . let's see if they can pick on something that big and fast - maybe even get their minds of each other LOL Good luck making the decision, I hate those kind of decisions!

Yes Lents can be some of the most aggro of the Lugabris, but there is always the exception.
Mine are pushing 12+ inches and they get along like champs. Don't bother the 7 silver
dollars, or the Zonatus and Synspilum they are housed with.

I would keep the Lent, but I am like Jer in that sense.
