Leo feeding - HELP

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
then you'd have to take a trip out to the middle east and collect some of the rock/clay and very fine sandy dust they live on, LOL.

they dont live on sand dunes. papertowel, newspaper, or rock tile are the safest choices.

man no offense, it happens to all of us we like to handle our reptiles, but a chameleon wud be dead by now lol

XD good thing they didn't have both sexes OR the species we were looking at then, huh?

Coura - I know. And in a way that's what I'm doing. I can't switch it because if I handle them any more, they'll be WAY too stressed. Once they settle down, maybe a month or two (yes, i know that might be too late but its the soonest i can do it), I will switch it again asap.

Oh yes they will. I already switched it twice, weighed them twice, and took them out to try hand feeding since i dont have long tweezers. And yeah, its in. It was either that or the wood chips

what about paper towels? I keep my two girls over paper towels with no issues. as others have said already, having a 'natural' look, just isn't worth risking the health of your geckos.

as long as they can fit in their hides, one more small disturbance to get them off the sand shouldn't hurt, unless you did all that in the last few minutes.

Wood chips is bad but aint letal;)

i know you guys are probably right, but its not just them. My parents are gonna flip out saying "We just spent money on the sand! Why are you changing it again!?" or "We can't keep switching it!". I mean they already spent at least $300 on these guys, and i wont have the cash until September 28th. Think they can at least wait that long?
