i was talking to forest lake pets about rays when i got my retic remale...i started to mention flowers and leo's and the guy said that he could get 10" leos for like $1000 my price...that got me thinkin..since i am going to do my taxes today

thats why i am thinking and i don't have a pair right now...i need to figure that out...now my biggest is a 180gal...i want to get a 300gal till i can build my 8'x4' and my 10'x10' pond...after i get a house...

how long could they stay in a 180? dim 72"x24"...if i get the 300gal i think the dims are 6'x4' or so how long could they stay in there also...

id say buy the bigger tank first. leo's would be awesome to have but dead leo's are no fun at all. and 1000 isnt pocket change. well for me at least

actually if it was just the leos in the 180 that would prolly work for a while im not sure how big they get though. i would say find out and get the tank first though.

i know they get to 30"+...i can build that pond in a day so it isn't like i am just pulling that out of my ***...idk the growth rate of them as i will have motoros aswell i plan to breed them aswell...are we talking 1 yr in the 180gal...or longer....how long in the 300gal?

i know...i just sold my catfish due to pond restrictions...i want a ray pond and a cat pond i can't do both in an apartiment...my choice was rays till i get the house...i just got 7silver aros(three dided do to shipping problems) to give me a total of 8 silvers and 1 jar so i will be doing the pond....
