Hey Guys, i noticed my leo breathing heavy last sunday and not active . Also noticed some sliming on the tail part. So i did a water change the same day and by monday it was acting normal again in the afternoon. I took a close look at it and i saw small spots ! It was gone by yesterday evening and the leo is now back to 100% but i still want to know what it was.

I was able to take a pic sunday.. here are the tiny spots.

glad to hear your leo is doing fine..as a ray lover and owner, I would like to know what happened too

My Flowers also had those but they are still doing great, eating like pigs :) I wish somebody can analyze those for us.

Don't know what was wrong but glad you got it back to health.

David - Havent tested lately but i know my ph is at a steady 7.

The only way that could change is if i dont do my regular maintenance but i have. Things that i have done new for that week was 1. Put a new fish in and 2. Put a medium sized rock in the tank.

Thanks for the encouragement guys. I was worried for a minute on monday... more so because leos are practically nonexistent in the trade nowadays.

dimfer/jesto - i would like to know myself what happened. It probably has to do with the changes that i did.

Were they little bumps like pimples? Im trying to get a better idea, as I have seen this before..

What type of rock? Most likely, it messed with the pH level.
