Leopard Gecko questions

how long did you let it heat up and what substrate are you using and is it surface or ambient temp?
if its surface you can get a heat lamp and get a low wattage night bulb to boost the ambient a bit
 
Yea some can get rather how at times .
 
Hello. I have had my Leopard Gecko for 12 years. She lives in a 55 gallon tank with indoor outdoor carpet. I have a really nice piece of grapevine wood in there. I have two house's in the corners for her because she is nocturnal and likes to hide during the day. I have a 100 watt black light for her. She eats cricket's that I dust with Rep Cal calcium and vitamin's. I let her soak in my bathroom sink once a month to help her with her shedding. They are really cool lizard's that are easy to keep.
 
Wow, this thread brings back memories, from when I didn't know a thing about geckos lol
 
Hi you can also use ceramic bulb which i think is better and works for me its doesnt have lighting just heat and works good with 20 gallon i also have 2 hydro tangerine geckos for sale male and female and also a spotted female too let me know if intrested i got pictures

i disagree , belly heat is better , a heating pad is easier and less wattage.
