It isn't stressed at all and is Male F1 Trimac!He stays out and eats like a pig

from the fist pic its a fh 4sure. most likely a low grade red dragon zz too. wat r u feeeding her/him, it look stress and dull. try some new life spectrum, it will brighten up her/his color within a month. from the look of it, it might look like this when it grow up.

Thanks for the input lowgradefh.But I researched my source (since i posted this)and this guy is no flowerhorn,100% Trimac.He's not stressed just changing to adult colors.Feeding Hikari Gold,Bio Gold,frozen krill,live crickets & aquadine....

wow it looks even more like a FH in those last couple of pictures.

if i remember correctly. didn't you buy one from rapps, and buy one from petsmart? to see the differences while they grow up.

if so, what happened to the petsmart fish?

I don't see anything other than a Flowerhorn in those pics. Trimacs do not have red in the tail at that size.

too many pearls and the flower line is too developed, I am not a betting man but my money is on FH

I have normals and red dragons that are full grown and I have had plenty of fry from countless generations of selective breeding to say that I am almost sure that fish is indeed a FH. Danz has the right idea, it does have alot of spots to be a Trimac and the flower is very developed which is the best characteristic of FH's.

Pretty fish, although it has female FH looks, I've never owned a Trimac, so my opinion is not credible on that. I hope you like it and take good care of it. Sounds like it gets fed well.
