oh sorry my bad it must have been someone with a similar name that was doing that experiment.
as for the 3 spot thing, my male don't have only 3 spots. what ppl are referring to is the FLOWERLINE... trimacs don't have a flowerline (meaning spots so close they blend together to form a line). yours appears to have one (starting from the first spot past his spots by his eyes & head), and this has nothing to do with the number of spots. also trimacs don't have half their body showing red, just the throat area.

Fishfreak, Ok,I now understand what You are saying bout the flowerline,especially in the first pic I posted,The first couple spots kinda run togather.But then I'm sure ya know who Rapps is,So that being said how could it possibly be anything other than true trimac?

it just very crazy to me that some f0 trimacs could throw out something like that.
we just have to pay close attention to this fish for a few more months. maybe the red will fade out, and as he grows the flowerline will disappear, who knows. i do say this from the first pictures you posed showed me what appeared to be a crap ton of pearls. these have seemed to fade away a bit in the more recent photos.

Fishfreak,Yeah i see what Ya'll are seeing and would think the same thing If i didn't know where He come from.And I beleive the pearls where enhanced by the flash,but like you said they where there but have faded now.And i believe the flowerline is fading but we will see in the next few months

Looks like You guys were right,I stand corrected,This guy is most likely FH.Spoke to Jeff via e-mail and He agrees after seeing pics of these at larger size that they are not pure.He had purchased them from another breeder(which He will not do again)and sold them before He noticed they weren't pure.Will be getting one from his breeders when He has some large enough
WOW! That's messed up... Rapps got fooled by some jacka$$ who either doesn't know his fish or wanted to screw Rapps' reputaion....
