I've been told it's a female. It was originally sold to me as a Freddy. When I posted pics overwhelming response was that it was a female lois. She's maybe 4". Smallest fish in my tank right now.

I posted a pic earlier but this fish ^ is how mine looks. Almost identical. People on the forum told me it was Lois even though it was sold to me as a freddy. What makes you think it's not a Lois? Or why it is a freddy? Thanks.

Lois have this color at this area. I dont know why ppl cant see it. It is like the first thing when u see the fish.

I know you weren't talking about my fish. But since my fish and the fish in the picture look like they could be siblings it interested me that you thought it was a freddy when I used to also believe mine was a freddy. It's not that big of a deal. However I do see the color on the front of that fish but that fish also looks like it's an adult. And also male. I'm not sure if that matters or not. I'm not an expert. But I have seen young fish look different from their adult counterparts.
