Let me see your red tailed catfish!

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
Congrats on your RTC's!!

I've had several, traded my last one a couple of days ago! Now am reduced to pseudoplatistomas.

thats a great lookin tank, I wish my redtail was that active. I'm sure he will be more active though when he gets his own tank without the clown knife, the ck is kind of a bully.

i bought one a while back but had to take him back cus he was way to big for my 55 gallon tank and he tore it all up =( it was 125 and i never got a refund

Hey Bgonz, wish I had a teacher like you when I was in school. Might have looked forward to going if there was some nice tanks to look at!

Thanks, Sometimes its more trouble than its worth but it works out well. The kids love it and our old 3' RTC was the talk of the board meetings :D On one occasion he latched onto the principals fingers when he thought he could tease him. Needless to say..... it was pretty damn funny.

At one time i had 3 tanks with the smallest being a 150. We had a 3' nurse shark, a 2' horned shark, a couple big mean Tesselata and green moray eels, a reef tank, a few Aro's, Huge oscars and a few more i'm sure i'm missing. But in the end the RTC wins. He's the one the kids like the best, he's like a dog, always looking for attention.. I had my last "school" RTC for 8 years and he was in countless school videos , advertisements and he even won most popular one year and was featured in the yearbook :screwy: Hopefully our new guy will grow as big and carry the school mascot theme well.

Heres a pic of my smallest one, He's about 6", in this pic he was just rumbling with my 7" Giraffe nose cat. They had many a battle and i had to seperate the two before one got seriously hurt. Who would thing giraffe noses are nasty :screwy:
