Severums are so beautiful..so elegant and so dignified...mine share the tank with my fronts.. they are peaceful and fun to watch.. Lets see all those colors of severum....mine are the green ..i also have a pair of babies that are gold. WOuld love to get some reds..

Here's mine, I picked up in a tank full of 'normal' green sevs.

Any ideas on what it is? I've never seen a green one with such bright orange/red colours.

Looks like possably a red shoulder sev? Whatever it is it's really nice looking.

you have a beautiful baby there..there is soooo much color in the little one already..your going to be very happy when you see it develope into a striking sev.. i never saw a baby so colorful..all that red already..nice.

All of a sudden the growth will speed up.. mine were like that too.. no rush as long as they are healthy..

No rush, just an observation on my part. It's the only severum I ever owned so I didn't know how normal it's growth speed was.

my two babies seem to take a long time until they got about 3 inches across then it sped up.. and almost over night they gained a couple of inches..it also depends on the size of the tank and the varied diet and heritary factors.. i am sure you will see some awesome growth really soon..looks very healthy.
