omg that is so lovely. How big is that tank? It looks quite small but maybe im wrong and those fish are just massive.
Ever thought about adding knight gobies or a brackish moray?
Thanks!
Yes this tank is 1m x 35cm x 45cm, just a grow out for these guys (the largest scat is currently at about 12cm in length). I have their new tank sorted (150cm x 60cm x 60cm), I am just trying to sort out the stand for it now.
Eventually it will just be for the scats once everyone grows a bit bigger in the new one.

I have kept a grey faced/white eyed moral eel with them for a while when they were younger.

Yeah I really like the brackish look and environment, with some mangroves it would really look amazing.
Mine is full marine however. Put them all straight as juveniles (with the mollies) into full marine. Skipped the brackish stage. I have always kept it at 35 ppt. Just because its easier to maintain keep nitrates it check.

Here's my 225. Aquascaping is courtesy of my Oscar, Brick. I kid you not, he moves everything. He's been ripping stems from plants leaving bushy stumps. The rocks have all been moved to the front glass too. He'll drag the floating plants around as well. You can see him in the middle near the bottom.
