Great shot john. How big is he now?

Sweet, you can try to be the first person to raise one privately over 4', probably hit the 3' mark in less than a year though. Any idea how old he is?

the tsn x rtc is closing in on the 3 foot mark....

the tsn seems more of a predator than the hybrid....

Yeah I have noted that also. TSN are built to be predators way more than rtc, or the hybrid. They are very streamlined, and will work their way slowly over to their prey, and then strike lightning fast once their barbells touch it.

Oh and at that size depending on how he was kept I wouldn't think that he would be any more than 1 1/2 to 2 1/2 years old.

my pair of TSNS r like almost 3 feet and 3 years old at least. how long do u reckon they can live for? and how big max...in a 16 foot pond.

Never really heard how long anyone has kept them in aquaria, but all literature suggests that they can live for more than 20 years. So if properly cared for 10+ years is a definite possibility, and 3 1/2 to 4' should be a realistic size, really just depends on the individual fish.

Very old pic this was my TSN when he was in a tank B.P (before pond:naughty: )
