Can do. It's really only two years, as I shipped them out in very late December 05. The male is 12", female is only 6" or so.

I grew them from 2" to 8" (5" for her) but was made an offer I couldn't refuse and shipped them out to NJ. Be nice to get them back.

have they bred for you too?
They have not bred for me yet. Too much going on in the tank. I will get full tank pics soon. All the fish that I got from you are doing well. The guinacaras and the nic grew quite a bit.
Got the S. daemon from Ed aka paradise so as the altifrons.

Ewok, what were you thinking?!?! Warfrik got some nice ones:naughty:
sigh i know... that's what you get when you are impulsive and sell off your entire collection... took me a good month or more to find them and they arrived in pretty poor shape and i had to nurse them back to health.
they did breed for me like 1-2 weeks after arrival though :D :D :D

as long as they are in the area and there is a breeding group, i'll be ok :)

Bad and good news. Lost my steindachneri as a result of unknown circumstances yesterday. Only a juvenile luckily, but he didn't eat that night and was 'lazing' around on the gravel, behavior I thought was rather normal as I've seen photos of numerous Red Humps doing it. That night he was hovering vertically at the surface and had no idea what was going on around him and had passed away by noon the next day.

Good news, picked up a new addition from a specific breeder.

Geophagus altifrons 'Tocantins'

Only a 6-7cm Juvenile, sorry to disappoint :p
