Where did you get it from?

I got it from Sean. In these pics the barring is not as prominent as it is under stress but it is 100% bisect. I just got a copy of Weidners book yesterday so I will poke through there and see if I can come up with ideas..

When ever I go to a small LFS, I always raid the book section hoping to find a copy. It finally paid of. Little place in Seattle had a copy still in the plastic that had been there for years. :D

Ditto. It would be great if they made it an ebook.

Thanks for all the Orange Heads, both of you guys.. Will have pics up this week.. Doing a good waterchange today and will shoot some later tonight maybe if the water looks good.. Plus on friday i'm switching out my Estes Black sand, and going for a more natural Lapis Luster sand..;) Still on the look out for more wood too.. So will have a whole new look next week..:D

I haven't been in here in a while... Here are some pics of my prolific breeders.

The last two are of Couple 3 parenting and the brief dual-brood experiment I had... turns out they'll scoop and raise another pair's fry, but only if they're already holding. With an empty mouth, they can "taste" a difference and will attack/eat. Fascinating stuff.

And two of my three Abalios, plus one of the Leucosticta.

Yes, that is an African fish hanging out in the background. Had to get him out of another tank so he didn't eat some little fish. This tank is all out of sorts right now... has Fronts in it too. Oh well. One pic has flash, the other doesn't. The Abalios are showing some great greens and reds. Even better than either photo captures. No trailers though because the Uaru are too feisty. I may end up having to get rid of them.
