He is a bit of a bully at times but I like him anyways. I had a bunch (as in 120+) his fry that I grew out. Unfortunately they were all short-bodied. Some were very short with a triangular parrot-looking mouth. Others were moderately short-bodied with a normal looking mouth. I kept a few of the less SB ones just to see how they will turn out (the rest went to visit Snappy, my Common Snapping Turtle). The female died, I am fairly certain it was the stress of three consecutive spawning/incubations periods.

It was sold as Biotodoma cupido, but it may be Biotodoma sp. "Guyana".
