Here's an update on mine. Now about 9". That's about 1" a month, pretty good for a festae. Definitely male. I need a female.

Here's a pic of my old male festae that jumped out of a crack just big enough for him to escape, and I found him behind the tank dead after returning home one evening. Haven't been able to find a good one since.
