View attachment 1185949 these are two oscars I got in craigslist about 13 inches each and in s 20 gallon belive it or not.. I got them for free and now live happily in a 125 with a few other friends I knew there was a reason I saved this picture
Meh... You can have up to three oscars in a 20 gallon. Still understocked. ;)

Wait! I see the pleco in there too! Well no matters you can have up to 20 of them in a 20 gallon. So the two oscars plus the pleco is good eh? Leaves room for 5.6 more fish... So let's put in 5 silver dollars in there too!

A.crassipinnis at nearly 10", curious how big she gets as this is supposedly the max and she's only 1.5 years old.

Threads like this and photos like MC's makes me want to get some O's. Wes (Rarefish) has a group of assorted WC Oscars that are for sale.... 10" range too!

jenn he is still showing nice grow line on the fin fringes, he is not done growing yet. :)

Thanks for the kind words. Im just curious as to how big A.crassipinnis actually get as so little is known about them, and the largest specimen recorded was a bit less than 10". If you love more rambunctious cichlids a Crass is a great O to keep as their personality is more bold than Orbicularis or Astronotus, IME :)

duanes, I would have tried to net one of those fry to take home :) Lovely "wild" photo.

I just wonder how I'm going to find one! No one seems to have crassipinnis. From what I gather, the fish that were labeled as A. Orbicularus have been confirmed to just be a locality of regular oscars and not a separate species.
