there mixed right now at the pet shop.

Couldn't remember the specific reasons for not mixing the darts but emailed the owner of the darts that are linked in post 3 and he let me know that:

"Azureus are an aggressive species from the Tinc group of frogs.

Leuc's come from a differant part of the world.

Hybridization-they can and will mix.

Stress to both species. "

So if you are considering both, I'd consider doing seperate enclosures for the seperate species. I know that with the darts you can mix, is usually only to be attempted by the experienced and that the frogs have a lot of room.
Hope this helps.

That doesn't mean anything. I can't recall a setup at a pet store that was done correctly for an exotic. They only have them together so they save on space and they are expecting to sell the animal and only plan on having it a short time. What davo said is the truth, some species can be aggressive and they will stress each other. Many species easily hybridize with each other as well. I know these frogs aren't cheap so it would be a real shame to lose one by doing something careless. Go with 2 tanks or one frog. I can't wait to see your final pics of the frogs and setup!

well maybe ill just get the blue ones. i would really like to get them to breed. as soon as i get some ill post pics!!
