Let's talk drip/auto fill systems.

Apex is an aquarium controller you can run your whole tank off a computer or phone
Yeah those things like that are nice. I had a reefkeeper that was just awesome wish I never sold it. It'd be a little overkill for my fresh now but would still be very useful.

In for a penny, in for a pound!

I picked these up at Lowes today along with the hardware to tap into my existing water feed lines. I checked every place in town trying to find a mixing valve and thermometer but no luck. I'll try the commercial supply houses on Monday.

This is gonna be so cool.

As mentioned for the thermostatic mixing valve watch the temp range, if you are on the low side it won't stay on target well. Also watch the minimum GPM the one you linked to is 1/2 GPM, near that or below and again it won't stay on temp.

Hmmm....... I would think my water pressure would give me more than 1/2 gallon an minute. I'll definitely test that tonight.

Here's the one I ordered along with a temperature gauge that I'll plumb into the line. It's rated for a minimum of 70° (most other brands were higher) so I hoping it won't have any trouble holding 80°.

Thanks for the input.

I JUST opened my UPS ten minutes ago.

I'll definitely keep you posted.

Oh, and I checked my water flow last night. It looks like I'm getting about 4 gallons a minute so I think I'm good.
Heck I could run it for 25 minutes a day and flow a hundred gallons into the tank. I run the lawn irrigation longer than that in the summer! LOL

The concern with flow rate would be if you are going to be using a true "drip" system or a carbon block filter that would restrict flow below the threshold, not what is available at any fixture.

Also don't confuse flow rate and pressure, they are two very different things.
