:irked:No, I have not put my head in a tank but since you told me to try I did notice that when the light is on there is a definate reflection in a glass set up. Anyhow, not trying to be criticized for trying to help out with any sort of info. Just giving an option for someone who ask for some direction. :chillpill:

Wow you are very easily offended :( I apologise for how YOU took what I said.. It only seemd like COMMON sense to me :D

Just to add a few more cents to the mix...
1. If you wanted a change of pace or something and the fish were happy and healthy where they are I'd say sell them. But you've waited too long. I can't imagine the fish are comfy or happy in those cramped quarters. If they're still healthy and doing a-ok I say go ahead and try to sell them but it's approaching a point where you're going to have to draw the line. How long are you going to try to sell them? If you keep trying for too long it's eventually going to start affecting their health and one way or the other I hope they're in a larger tank before that happens!! I think you'd do VERY WELL to send those guys over to Zoodiver! The fish would be much happier and safer!!
2. I just wanted to mention that I agree with Zoodiver's use of airlines over FedEx or UPS. Airlines seem to be somewhat more careful with boxes labelled live animals, FedEx does ok sometimes, but UPS is the craps at it! At the lfs I worked at as the Aquatics Mngr I can't tell you how many times I've yelled at FedEx or UPS guys for dropping, tossing around, and otherwise messing up my fish!! One was idiot enough to tell me "you should see what they went through before this!!" :swear: Does it really take a frickin Einstein to keep the arrow on the box pointed up??? Keep a close eye on how those guys handle your fish and don't hesitate to call in and complain!

That's a drop in a bucket for us to ship. I spent ten times that in shipping cichlids last week alone. My concern is getting them boxed and sent. I prefer airlines rather than Fed Ex or UPS. They get delivered the same day they're sent and we can pick up the bill on our account with no hassel to the shipper.

And yes, they'd have a nice little 145,000 gallon upgrade. ;)

If they were my fish i would just give them to Zoodiver. I would rather that that getting $300 and someone house them in a 1000 gallon tank. He is willing to pay for the shipping and give them the best home possible. What more could a pet owner want. Your fish will happier and that is what matters. We all have spent tons of money on fish and we have all had fish die in our tanks. Dont let this happen save them and let Zoodiver give them a dream home.

wee see a reflection of the fish, But the fish see the stuff under the tank.
Example look at dels thread, or say there is wood under your glass tank, he will see the wood not a reflection.

Well, my buddy had an eye droop problem for his 28 inch silver arowana. The problem with his set up was that he didnt have anything on the bottom of the tank so his arowana kept looking at his reflection. He ended up putting gravel there but also thought It would be a great idea to put a red ping pong ball in his tank to keep his attention at the top of the tank. Now it seem like its a toy for the arowana and also, most importantly.....the eye droop has gone away. I think the red ping pong ball is a good thing to try out.:nilly:

lol thats my fish :D
