Putting the foam back would be a very bad idea, and it will lead to the eventual failure of the seams of the tank. Polystyrene foam compresses and deforms over time, resulting in an unlevel tank, and that leads to seam failure. Styrofoam should NEVER be used as a substitute for properly leveling the stand.put the foam back? Why did you remove it do you think it was causing any issues?
Also a bad idea, the weight won't be evenly distributed over the bottom of the tank if you do that.Shim between plywood and stand. That's what I did.
My tank is perfectly level front to back, side to side, and corner to corner by shimming between plywood and stand. Also a bad idea, the weight won't be evenly distributed over the bottom of the tank if you do that.
Cool, but still a bad idea, since the weight isn't evenly distributed. My tank is perfectly level front to back, side to side, and corner to corner by shimming between plywood and stand.
