(LFS)I can't believe this happened

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
Yeah, but you got the kangaroos, heheh.
.

Yeah, kangaroo steak isn't too bad :D , a bit tougher and more of a 'game' flavour than beef.

You seem to be a bit of a carnivore (Miami trip thread), you'll probaly like it

Here, the lfs, got in a newborn(still had yoksack), went for $20, then a 5-6" for $65, although, A store in the next city can get 6-8" silvers for $30.00
The fish store here usally sells 5-6" silvers for around $50.00.

bring it back in, and show your receipt.. most of my lfs would give the difference in store credit
but I must also say, that some of my lfs, will charge more for imported, or farm raised fish, than they will if they bought it or traded it off a customer...
example:
new stock of 6" sailfin pleco
$6.50

traded in 6" sailfin pleco
$5.00

God, we have like 7 fish stores in a 6 mile radius. 1 will charge $4 for a single cardinal, while the others charge$2.50. 1 will charge the same price for any fish under show size for the same price, usually 5 bucks more then the other guys, but they have them in. But any way silver aro, about 5 bucks 6-7" 50 for 10"+ Competition helps. easy to find a cheaper price. Also in AUS, you guys have that whole non native species epidemic, that causes import surcharge taxes on animals. Go to your LFS and see how much a Harlequin Tusk fish cost, and report that price. Austrailian of course, cause that is where the best colors are from. Of course you could just go fishing and get one for free.....

well they cost about $20 for silver, and australian are around $50. I remember like 1 or 2 years ago for some reason australian price jumped up to $100.
