1. Shark aquarium-very inexpensive, cool, rare bass, most aggressive monster odballs
2. Rt4-a little overpriced, good selection, good fish health
3. Aquascape- Mostly piranhas, but do have a decent selection of other fish
4. Absolutely fish-overpriced, mostly community fish for sale
5. Pet Shanty- no one knows what they are talking about, medium small selection of fish
6. Elys- I went there and saw a ocellaris mono hybrid for $70. SUPER OVERPRICED, rundown, no selection of fish, one guy working there

I haven't gotten a chance to visit Rt4 yet but I think Sharkaquarium can be a little expensive but their selection is hard to beat....Aquascape is a Pirahna lover's dreamland.I was blown away by their variety of them when I was there....Pet Shanty is nothing special but a nice, stand alone building/store.The night crawler vending machine out front is a nice touch...I've not been to the other places mentioned.

I've actually been to all mentioned

1) SharkAquarium = Excellent selection, especially monsters
2) Aquascape = Good selection of monsters/pirans but not as big of an overall selection as Shark. Excellent prices
3) Rt 4 = Fish selection is excellent. However, some tanks could be a little "healthier"
4) Pet Shanty = Bought one fish from there, ended up infecting my entire tank with velvet. Tank health didn't seem great
5) Absolutely Fish = Immaculate tanks. Clean. Fish are healthy. However, most a community selection in FW. Huge SW selection though
6) Store in Blackwood = Buddy took me there a while back. Don't remember much other than the selection was impressive.

FWIW, I buy most of my fish from Shark or Aquascape. I've gotten some smoking deals from Aquascape. I bought 4 roseline sharks from them for $8 a piece. Decent size too. I also purchased 4 angelicus loaches for $6 a piece that were selling at Absolutely Fish for $30 and Shark Aquarium for $20.

Oh yea forgot about Elys. Cool place to dig thru. It in an old run down house with lots of rooms He doesn't like to budge on prices though even though he breeds his own rays. Wouldn't come down a few bucks for cash sale. It's worth a look if your aquarium hopping for the day

It's in an old house?...I'd be up for a trip just to see the layout of the place.

Yea pretty cool place. Old house it has like 6 or 7 rooms packed with tanks. Fish are all mixed up so you have to really look thru each tank to see what treasures you may find. There are all ponds in front and a pond room with all tubs filled with koi but I have seen some big cats in the mix too. The front register has 2 big tanks under it that are usually packed with rays and big aros. If your going to shark aquarium, Elys is only about 20 min from there

Pet shanty I don't like because of something they're did a few years ago. Thy sold me a synspilum at 8" to put In my 37 gallon with a Severum. It killed a bunch of fish and they gave me a 40 dollar credit, even tough the fish was $60 and killed $40 of fish
