Bobos is on palm and olive:) its labeled locally as bobos fish farm. Haha its a good place. Not as much "variety" as whites but he gets in some real nice harder to find species, and he takes care of you if your a regular. I recommend it. The shops not that pretty but his fishes are great. It's good to find more Fresno Mfkers:)

There's a lap at my lfs for $60 around 3-4". It has been there for a good month already and every time I pass by I am so tempted to get it. Well I've given into the temptation and was wondering do you guys think its a fair price for a lap? You don't really see these in my area so it's a really good find. Give me your opinions. :)

it might be expensive for that size, but it comes down to desire and availability. locally i have seen laps once or twice in the last 7 years of fish keeping that were bigger, but about the same price. If you dont see them that often and it is a fish you really want, you might as well pick it up because who knows when you will see them again.

Definitely checking it out today. Hoping for some bichirs!

You should give Bobo's fish farm a call.

$60 for 4" is a bit pricey, but if it's uncommon there, it might be worth picking up. I got my Lap for $40 at 8" and I know some people think that's pricey for a Lap in SoCal, but I rarely see them around any LFS. Funny thing was, the owner of the shop tried to pull a fast one on my and tried to charge me $55, but that's a long story.

I just called and he's still got the "endlis" in

The price kept me from picking it up but I thought about it and this is the first time I've seen laps in my area. I've always wanted a lap anyways haha. The owner must've felt stupid lol.
