Just in case you have not noticed these are temporary daytime stalls. You can see that the displays are covered by plastic umbrella type of shade to keep the sun and rain out.
They are taken down at the end of the day and the streets are then empty during the night. Probably have to take a before and after picture to show the contrast. Did not wait that long for that to happen though. lol. cheers.

You have now seen where to have a great time looking at the hobby fish stall along Jalan Pasar. This kind of shopping is very typical among the asians.

Next we ll go to a very similar concept with all the hobby stalls under one roof but now in a very urban city enviroment. It is situated in a nearby shopping area called IKANO next to the world famous ikea furnishing mega store.

This Store (Mega HobbyPet Store??) contains several retail providing the complete range of pets for the home from fish to cats, reptiles, dogs, the usual rabbits and hamsters.

Name of the Store is Pet Safari. We will spend quite some time here as there are lots to see.

Question. What's the difference from the Jalan Pasar RoadSide Shops.
1. This is inside a huge shopping complex.
2. Completely Air-Conditioned so shop in pleasant enviroment as long as you want.
3. From Small items to world famous product large and small it is available here.

Need more be mentioned. So let's start from the entrance as usual.
BTW If you want to visit the place ask the taxi to send you to IKEA (from any hotel in Kuala Lumpur) as it is in the same adjoining building with shared car parks. From There IKANO is just a few minutes to the Pet Safari shop which is on the Top Floor.

Plenty of Pictures for this particular store. They carry the Ehiem Brand as well as a number of Taiwan products like Azoo etc. Many Saltwater Items like live rock, coral, anemones, and the usual colorful saltwater tanks.
