Down in Kuala Lumpur there are many shops however there's one down in a place the locals frequent for electrical goods etc. called Jalan Pasar (aka Market Street in English) You can find similar places like this in Hong Kong, China and also singapore.

Here you will find roadside stalls peddling?? there wares in a very simplified manner. However you do have to know what you want as the display is what you get. no instructions to go along with the wares (in this case hobby fish and the associated accessories.)

This place is walking distance from the famous KL Computer shops like Low Yat Plaza, Sungei Wang actually it is just behind the Big Shopping Complex Times Square. So if you visit KL do take some time to take a walk there.
If you still do not know where it is just ask any of the staff at any hotel in KL and they will point you to the right directions. Ask for Jalan Pasar (Local Lingo not 'Market Street' - That's just the translated version)

Here are some pics of the place. Just a cursory view.
The first 2 pic shows the usual retail shops. which are also there in the same place. however that is not our interest today.

Continue Jalan Pasar roadside stalls. Those bags that you see are young speciments of the Asian Arowana. They go for 350 up to a few thousand in the local currency. (in the plastic)
