LFS owner tried to pull a fast one on me today

I will spend over 1/2 hour looking at the fish in the tanks befoer i buy to make sure nothing is visibly wrong.
my regular LFS owner usually tellsme to bag my own fish as he knows how picky i am and that i spend ages looking at the fish in the tanks first.

He usually knows which fish i am gonna buy as i will watch them in the tanks for a few weeks before finally buying them.
 
My lfs is really good in dealing with sick fish. Once, I asked to buy a fish in a tank with a dead one that I didn't see, and he just advised me not to buy fish from that tank because there was a dead one in there. They have hourly checks on all of the fish tanks and medicate all of the tanks. Even the fish with only 1 eye look heathy! The only bad fish stores in the area are petco and walmart. My petsmart is really good. The only thing that's bad there is that they sell pacus crammed into a ten gallon tank, and the silver needle nose gars are put in freshwater. The good employee in petco finally got fired, and now I can't even see in the water, and they have fish that they can't idenify. They put a foot long fish into a foot long aquarium! It can only swim diagonally, now!

you have a much better control of your temper than i do, i would have thrown the bag, fish and all at him. I can't abide people who try to swindle anyone, it ticks me off to the limit.
 
I might have beat him to the ground, rolled him in rock salt,and taken a pee on his open woulds before tossing him through a window and dragging him behind my jeep untill he was dismembered...Im not sure if thats a little extreme,it just poped into my mind thinking of it..

Funny you should say that, but as far as Erie stores go I would pick sea cave over them anyday! If buzz and bees cared about their rep maybe they would have treated me better. Tried to tell me a texas was a true red texas when it was labeled for 18.99. Another lady told me a red terror was a flowerhorn when I was playing dumb with them. I would suggest sea cave to anyone in the erie, pa area for freshwater fish even though they specialize in saltwater. NOT a "pet shop"(buzz and bees).
