OK so I havent really seen any cool LFS around the dallas/carrolton/ farmers branch area ,those familiar with dallas know what im talking about.Part of the reason is Ive only been in dallas the last 2 years or so I havent done much fish shopping here in the dallas area .Besides the usual stuff at petco/petsmart .I have a dog so I have to go there every now and then .But I miss the NICE specialized LFS shopping experience .I have seen some very nice LFS that will make you drool in san antonio where I moved from. While you can get just about everything online With arm and a leg shipping .I would like to know some of your favorite LFS and location's and why not any LInks to local dallas LFS you want to share , I know dallas has to have some cool LFS some where I just dont know where there are any.I have been to one and the funny thing is that place sold aquarium tanks and stands but no fish go figure .

Hey Im in Rockwall and I had the same problem. But here are a few.
Fish Gallery
6955 Greenville Ave
Dallas Tx ..................... Tom knows just about anything about freshwater and planted tanks.

Dallas North Aquarium just suffered a massive fire and lost all their products and alot of fish. I didnt like the place for purchasing fish and their prices are high, but they have what you need and I only will deal with Cole, only there on weekends.

This is my new favorite place. Aquatic trading
4750 N. Jupiter rd. Garland Tx. The owners name is Tony, really great guy and he is the owner. You get I think 15% off of your first fish purchase. He has a Jardini there and some large arowanas. Ther is a great selection of saltwater fish also. There are alot of really nice fish there. I would only buy fish from him now in this area. PM me if you have any more questions or want more detailed info on the shops. When I moved here in September I went on a hunt for good fish stores and this is all that i would deal with. Stay away from that Boutique Pet store, what a joke!

Ya they lost alot of fish. If you go there, just deal with Cole, he wont lie like the others over there. I had a weird issue with the other people there.

sh*t, thats harsh. :(

i love the top bit of that website. i could look at that all day its so relaxing

Aquarium Trading CO
14456 Midway Road, Dallas, TX 75244

They recently moved to where they are now, so their store is a bit of a mess, but they have a lot of used equipment from their old store (I assume thats where its from...) at good prices. Not a lot of livestock right now though, but hopefully they will expand their selection as they get settled in.

Fish Gallery is where I go most often. The employees are always helpful and the fish are of great quality, though their supplies are a bit overpriced.

I've never been to Aquatic Trading, but I think I may go check it out tomorrow.
