Cool thread MV2006.I just moved to Ft Worth in March so I'm also looking for lfs's in the metroplex.Dallas North Aquarium looks AWESOME .I may have to go there when I get off in a few hours!!Maybe a little far for you guys in Dallas but i found a place called Keller Farms in N. Ft. Worth a week or so ago.Had a really good cichlid selection(american and african) pbass included which I never saw in Waco where I'm from.They also had the staple monsters like silver aro's, clown knives, a dat, etc. all reasonably priced.

They recently moved to where they are now, so their store is a bit of a mess, but they have a lot of used equipment from their old store (I assume thats where its from...) at good prices. Not a lot of livestock right now though, but hopefully they will expand their selection as they get settled in.

Fish Gallery is where I go most often. The employees are always helpful and the fish are of great quality, though their supplies are a bit overpriced.

I've never been to Aquatic Trading, but I think I may go check it out tomorrow.

Yeah thats the place I was talking about in dallas that i went to they had aquariums but no fish, But that place has been open about a year already I went there sometime in august of last year.

so im planning a trip to get out of my lil hillbilly town and go to Oceanside, CA for a week.

Im looking for good LFS's/wholesalers whatever that are reputable.
Im actually looking for oddballs or new varieties and since I know alot of these buisnesses on here ect. always ship or are situated in the LA district.

does anyone know of any good reputable places nearby here?

I'm not too sure about Oceanside, but if you're willing to drive 30 minutes down to San Diego, there is Pet Kingdom in Point Loma (on Sports Arena Blvd), and Fountains in Le Mesa (on University). Pet Kingdom has an alright selection, but I don't care for the employees. Fountains Is pretty good and I have no complaints about the staff there.
