Ocean reef pets in Jacksonville, FL has the best prices i have ever seen. and a good selection, also they will order you something they don't have if you ask. I have gotten some really interesting fish there for dirt cheap (i.e. a freshwater lionfish for $20)

the gulf of mexico! and texas tropicals in san antonio... the best fish store ive ever seen. any body near san antonio that hasnt been there needs to go... $12 for a 4" delhezi!!!!!!! thats all that needs to be said!

Great guys to deal with. I suggest them if you are ever in town. Shop is kind of small with small selection in freshwater but they will order you w/e they want if you give them a heads up a few weeks before you want it. Saltwater selection is huge though.

Fish Town USA!-underrated little place on Rt. 17 in Ramsey NJ. The best if you're into planted tanks and the nicest people around. Great prices on hardware too.

Beitals Aquariums (Pearl River NY)- over-priced, and rude, but just about the best selection of salt water fish in NJ/NY. Some hard to find fresh stuff too. Amazing huge salt monster show tank. Go when the owner is there or you cant find out prices on anything.
Rt. 4 Aquarium and Birds (Fairlawn NJ)- Really really cool guys who will give you deals once you've been in there a few times. Awesome herp selection too. could be cleaned up a bit though.
Absolutely Fish (Rt. 46 NJ)- Beautiful clean store with top notch fish. extremely overpriced, and not the most knowledgeable of staff all the time, but by far the cleanest fish store I've ever been in.
Golden Aquarium (Elmhurst NY)- Amazing Flowerhorns for honest prices. Some cool oddballs too.
