So from Sunday's journey. Went to two different shops both in the rough same area about 8 miles apart. About 1.5 hrs from me.

That just 1 of them the other pics didn't turn out real good. Ive got a video from above too its taking forever to load and its pretty rough.

Personally had both Seahorses and a small Octopus years ago and it was quite an experience with both species. MrsE88 MrsE88 the Seahorses would be a great project for you imo. The key to Seahorses are pristine water conditions and a consistent food supply. I've weaned Seahorses off of live adult Brine Shrimp to Frozen Mysis Shrimp.
The only negative for keeping a small Octopus is their life span which could be shorter than 6 months or less depends on health and age.

Wow, really? I have no idea octopus didn’t live for very long. They are likely too smart for me anyway. Haha.

The seahorses I really do want to work up to. I saw a setup on fb that has really sold me on them. The guy has kelp growing in their tank! I have not seen that before. The videos of his horses are so fun to watch too:)

That's a great LFS . I love the selection of Freshwater and Saltwater.
