Life in a 29

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
cool link am reading it now

good luck, let us know what you decide

wont be doing anything for awhile but will try to keep this updated would love a pair of geckos or frogs to breed

just from reading the link about the clawed frog it seemed that they would be easy to breed.........you should also look into crested geckos. very popular now and easy to care for/breed. diferent color morphs too. you could probably do a male and 2 females in your 29.

yea gotta find reptile/amphibian stores in Az dont really know of any but will be continuing my research till im ready

A 29g would be a great tank for the herps I am currently keeping, which are crested geckos and tree frogs! Cresties are cool looking, arboreal, fairly active, and dont mind being handled. The tree frogs are nocturnal, yes, but are surprisingly interesting to watch! Buy a low wattage red bulb, or a regular bulb with clear red plastic wrap over the fixture, as the frogs cannot see red light, and they will think its night and you can watch them easily! For species i would recommend either whites tree frogs or green tree frogs.
