No one here has planted backgrounds? I like backgrounds with plants and rocks and some blue on the top that resembles the open water. It gives the tank an illusion of endless depth continuing onward behind it that I personally find quite attractive.

I saw a tank at Petsmart with a mirror background. This is the first time I've ever seen one of these.

a mirror? so they can play jedi mind tricks on people and make it look like they got more fish than they really do or what? lol haha im thinking about making a 3d background for the inside of the tank saw a couple and looks really cool

That's what I was thinking. I imagined a glass banging flowerhorn in a tank with a mirror background. Sounds like a recipe for shattered tank glass.

Yes, because my son's bedroom door is next to it. I don't want them to get spooked whenever he goes in and out of the room.
