Ya I hear ya it can hurt alot having to let go... but it sounds like he's in great hands and thats what really matters!Well alot has happened. When the covid rent restrictions were lifted they jumped my rent by 500 a month. Even with the roommate it wouldn't work.
Had to sell off all my tanks. The guy that bought 2 of them took in Casper till I can have big tanks again. And will sell one back to me at the same price.i sold to him.
Money from tanks and lots of very generous MFK members helped me get a car to live in for a couple months. Then got into a homeless hotel that led me to help getting and paying the rent on my new apartment.
Sadly had to rehome my darling little Phoenix. Got two noise complaints, one more would have been an eviction and homeless again. A very sweet little Latin lady got him. She had a female already, and a whole room dedicated to the bird in a very nice neighborhood in a good part of the town. She fell to the ground and started crying when she saw him, so I feel he is in a very good place.

Phoenix absence is what really hurts. He was at the point that he was only ever really in his cage at night to sleep, rest of the day he was always near or on me getting into whatever I was doing.
Well then ill be waiting patiently for updatesThe apartment I am in currently has the standard 50gal tank limits. I have ten months left on the lease, hopefully by time the lease is up my HUD housing will come thru and I can move into a place where I can have big tanks again.
Oh so another member has him!? Thats awsome manB B1gJ4k3 has been doing updates in Caspers original thread

Thanks for the heads up!.. I know the hygger doesn't have adjustment on the 24/7 like the finnex does ... I ordered a hygger to try out anyways tho as its very cheap... again I'm not growing plants so maybe I can atleast adjust it without 24/7 so I don't get the algae explosion you had... well see... I'm not even sure I will need it with my grow lights above the tank anyways.I saw you saying you like the 24/7 style. It's possible they've upgraded, but the Hygger I bought last year, that option is not adjustable at all and I had to stop using that setting because it was setting off algae bombs. Works great as a regular adjustable light. The regular setting still has a gradual on and off function, but otherwise it's set the light settings you want and that's what you get all day. The 24/7 setting has no adjustment except what time it turns on each day.
