Good luck. He appears on quite a thin side - take good care of beefing him up a bit (of course not risking spoiling your water). Earthworms is an excellent choice to accomplish this asap. These predatory, carnivorous fish like fleshy foods the most. It be nice to stuff the fleshy foods with pellets every now and then. Some keepers are able to feed them only high quality pellets but it takes a long time to train them to take the pellets and it appears to me they never grow as healthy and big and fast on pellets than on fleshy frozen-thawed foods. I may be wrong but such is my curent impression.

Sweet thanks for the info. I got him to eat an earthworm the first night but his belly was still big last night and he didnt seem to want anything last night. Ill get him fat and happy in no time though.

Big tummy is good. I'd feed again when it goes flat, not offering anything before that... unless it is meant for the tank mates.

Yeah thats what im gonna do. I read online about people overfeeding them and i didnt want to do that. So i figured when his belly went flat id feed him again.

Sorubims are not known for overfeeding. I'd be more worried about fouling water. But in general, overfeeding is indeed not good for any fish, keeping in mind that the term overfeeding can have different meanings for different fishes (meaning that for some, an unbelivable, ready-to-explode stomach is a norm after a good meal).
