The way they eat does freak some fish out at 1st as they eat like a shark and when settled they even swim with the dorsal out of the water at food time

It's 8x6x3 with a 6x2x2 sump with 24-7 water change
I have to say this again, your tank is by far one of my favorites on this site.
Great attention to detail...
The filtration is a 6x2x2 sump with 4 x eheim compact 5000 pumps 4 x vectron 25w UVs run back to back to give a total of 100w
24/7 water change run from a HMA filter which changes 150-200 gal per day
The tank base has 4 pillars of concrete foundation blocks along the back wall and 2 pillars at the front with uni strut in the middle for support
The front face of the tank is finished off with a real red brick face high gloss red surround and and sump doors
The whole tank build including building the hut for the tank to go in took about 1 month

It also has a aquatronica system which monitors redox orp ph sump level water leak sensor it also sends me a SMS message if and of the things mentioned above are out but my main reason for using the aquatronica is if the power trips it will also send a SMS message which I thought was important with the tank being in the garden
Hearted 4 x aquamedic 500w controlled by 2 weipro 1019 temp controllers
Light are a 6th 8 tube T5 hanging light
Tank size is 8x6x3 with 2 weirs in the centre of each side glass with 2 x 50mm drain pipes in each
The background is 22 sheets of jewel 600x600 dark cliff
The tank has been up and running now for 1 year with no problem and no need for water changes all you need to do is feed
