I know you can't save everyone, but one dad at the LFS convinced me to pick up these jags. I thought they were vicious killers... mine seem to enjoy eating and sulking. Haha

I heard a couple the other day trying to explain how they wanted a pair of 1.5" oscars cause they only "grow to the size of the tank"... and wanted them in their 20 Gal. Thank God they were talked out of it by the salesperson. But on the flip side someone brought in a nice jag cause it got too big and I made a comment to the guy that it was a nice Jag and asked how much out of curiosity. He told me it was not a jag, it was a Managuense[FONT=Verdana, Helvetica]. I thought he was making a joke but he seemed to get irritated when I laughed. [/FONT]

Lol, yea this kind of stuff seems to be getting more and more common, people either only know the nickname or they only know the Latin.

Glad everyone likes my plecostoguense, he's F0 from La Rivera de caca. Rare place to find fish at nowadays..
