Literally LOL'd at LFS

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
I'd pay a lot of money for a plecostoguense. My algae is very aggressive and requires a ruthless disposition to eat. Is it true that it will only grow to the size of the tank? And last question, do you think he's a good tank mate for my RTC? I have him in a 55 but don't worry, I over filter.

I literally lolde at the plecoguense!

Im so numb already from people arguing with me on what a fish is. I just walk away. I use to laugh but now i just mentally face palm and agree with them. Worst is when a employee is trying to price something super expensive cause they are so damn sure its something else when its really a $5 fish.

They run about $40 per plecostoguense fry, they're super hardy but have aggression problems, usually toward algae. They can grow quite large, so they wouldn't fit in with your RTC. Other names for plecostoguense include but are not excluded to: jaguar sucker, Pleco con Los Dientes, and algae cichlid.

One of the more known cases of the plecostoguense was the algae massacre of 1978, when 3 of these savages ate through an entire lake bottom in just 6 hours. Fishermen were outraged, for their hooks stopped getting snagged on weeds, making fish easier to catch.
