It's sort of like power feeding, but a refined version and it's a lot better for the fish and their water quality.

He recommends feeding 3 small feedings a day, and skipping a couple feedings every other day. This gives the bichirs time to digest their food well.

Combine that with frequent water changes, and the result is thick healthy bichirs, that grow fast.

Also part of it is to feed plenty of silversides. I've been feeding these dels silversides, shrimp, tilapia, and beefheart. I feed a different food item each feeding.

Soon I'll add massivore into their menu as well.

You recipe doesn't work on my endlis. They're growing only one inch every two months. At this rate it will be a few years before they reach 16". My group of bichirs can eat as much as 50 massivore pellets a day. I think I will need more than a one bag of 2.2 lbs per year.

i do feed everyday big bichirs with lil bichirs no problems

prob 1 day is 50 pellets b.c i feed 50-60 pelletsa day because i give 1-2 handful of pellet
