I just got a box this morning from Live Aquaria that was already on back order containing two gold line chromis'. The problem is, they were ice cold. The temperature in the water was 51 degrees!(needless to say they were dead, putting livestock in cryostasis for shipping still has some kinks) The outside of the box was physically cold. Whats up with these guys lately? Not to long ago I got a box with a dead Cardinal and it was missing like 4 animals they didn't even tell us were out of stock. If I wanted frozen fish I would have gone to the market. For now I'll be buying from thatfishplace for the time being.

Man that sucks! Now I'm kind of glad that they don't ship to Canada heh.

Yea, well before this I had a buddy do a freshwater order where 60% of the livestock died and the remaining stock had a nasty case of ick. Their wysiwyg is tempting on some of thier zoos, especially since you can get a fist sized rock or larger for the price of frag from an LFS around here, but I am uneasy about their recent feedback.

Maybe its just a disgruntled employee? I wonder what they did to make Fleshy so mad...

They hired someone that worked under me when I was 14 to be a member on their like 8 person coral team.

Bugger. I stll like them. I use them.

This is really subpar. Im kinda ashamed being a wisconsinite and all. Luckily if you didnt order from divers den or corals your order shipped from cali! :D

That being said when I want to do divers den I can just go pick up whatever it is that I want. One of the best fish stores in 2 hours of where I live.

I've always had good service from them before. It's just recently our fish have been DOA. I'd love to be able to go to the actual store and see everything before I buy. I have a feeling the deaths are the fault of irresponsible FEDEX drivers leaving them over night in a warehouse.

i order a lot from them. most of the time they are good. i had a few doa's they made good on.

i had a talked with 1 of the customer service members last month because i got 3 dead figure 8 puffers in row. they shipped them in almost no water. i told them im paying $30 for overnight shipping, and it doesnt cost u any extra to use a large bag and extra water to ensure the fish u ship live. it doesnt make sence. granted the fish are only 8$ but it cost them 24$ for 3 dead fish .

Fedex just delivers the package. If the box is beat to hell and punctured, then its a Fedex issue. But if the fish are freezing cold, in dirty water, or scorching hot, thats a foster and smith problem. Most reputable places will know what is going on weather wise, and insulate and add hot/cold packs accodingly.

and i also feel that you should not have to pay $10 extra for a.m. del. they should make a deal with fedex and they all should be am del. 5 or 6 hours extra in a box can make all the difference.
