actually, often fed-ex packs their trucks for delivery the night before and then parks the in locations to get new drivers in the morning.
Its one of the reasons I don't use Fed-ex for shipping my packages. Their trucks are not at all insulated and this is not an uncommon occurrence.
Granted, heat packs should have been used.
