Intersting info. I've fed my senegal minnows and he really likes them. But, I ended up having to treat the tank for parasites (he seemed healthy but I lost a big Bala Shark) becuse I didn't quarantine long enough. I was in a rush because the pellets I was feeding him got discontinued and he wouldn't (at the time) eat any other pellets.
He also knocked out a couple of badly behaved male sail-fin mollies that got tossed into the big tank since they couldn't get along in my kids' 10 gallon.
Now I'm feeding him primarily frozen blood worms and hikari sinking wafers. He really seems to do well and I have a whole pond full of LFS minnows outside. Which actually works out nice because they're too small and fast for the racoons and possums (RIP to our coy...)
