Lizardfish???

When I got it from Wes, it was about 4" long. I figured since the fish is slender, it wouldn't be a big eater....WRONG!!! The thing grew about 2.5" in the first 6 weeks!!! It slightly buries itelf in the gravel, and explodes out when feeders or shrimp are put in. It's crazy how fast they move, and just how much they eat.

It was about 9" long when I began to worry it would eat everything in the tank, so I sold it to a friend. He thought it would be ok with his B.Bagarius.....needless to say we are now both looking for replacements.

Do you know where I can buy a Lizard fish and what do they eat. Also are the brackish or freashwater fish.

Different fish. The Platycephalus that Wes gets are from India I think. The big one he had got eaten by one of those stoopid Bumblebee groupers.

Yeah that pic with it hanging out it's mouth made me cry. They are full freshwater, and can get around 3'. The Lizardfish only attacks fish it sees as a meal, so larger fish are left alone. The Bagarius was bigger, and decided to skin and eat the Lizardfish one night.
