what do you think it would be like swimming in a loach pond? Would they nibble at you, or all stab you at once with their bifurcated spines?

Nibble. They do not stab unless they feel threatened or provoked which is unlikely to happen when they approach you for food. I have 8 clowns myself and they tend to eat on my hand.

I am not really all that interested in breeding them. I don't think it is feasible to do commercially, so it doesn't matter all that much, except to get your name in a fish keeping journal. That might get you some respect amongst the fishkeeping community, but I don't think it will benefit the hobby in any way.

Your right bro they are only a few pounds/dollars from wholesale no point really, your loach collection is insane though.
