Loaches at petco

Petco's website lists clown loaches at 3.99 on sale for 3.59. If you go into the store they are listed at 12 something. Today I went in to my local Petco, and showed them there website on my blackberry showing the fish as 3.59. They agreed to price match it! When I got to the register the computer wouldnt let them take that much off the price. The sku number of the store, and sku number online were different. I got them to type in the online sku, and it showed up as 3.99. I picked up two to add to my other clown loach. Just thought i would share a possible way to get a GREAT price on clown loaches to other clown loach lovers. Good luck! and let me know if this works for you

No problem, just looking out for everyone on monster fish keepers, and as far as i'm concerned the majority of loaches will be better off in ya'lls tanks then in petco's

Good deal. My local petcos all have unhealthy looking loaches everytime I go so I just end up buying them at local shops, usually $3 for smaller ones and $9 at petsmart for 3"-4" loaches.

I used to work at a petco a few years ago. At our store we weren't allowed to do price changes to match the website because apparently they purposely have lower prices on the website to encourage internet sales. Some stores may do the price change, but a lot wont.
